Kristina Blichfeldt Lautrup has many years’ experience of IP law, particularly copyright with a focus on the acquisition and exploitation of rights by TV stations in a constantly changing digital reality.
Kristina advises numerous Danish and international TV stations and media companies on the reuse of audiovisual content by third parties in the Nordic countries as well as on the interface between copyright law and competition law.
Kristina also advises TV stations and streaming services on the acquisition and use of rights in relation to employees, freelancers, producers, sports organisers as well as other rightsholders.
Moreover, Kristina assists TV stations in connection with consultations on EU regulation, lobbying and statutory amendments within the copyright law in Denmark and Norway. By way of her advisory work, Kristina has gained extensive knowledge of the Nordic extended collective licence system; she has also advised the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture on the regulation of collecting societies.
Kristina has been teaching family and succession law at the University of Copenhagen and is advising clients on matters of succession law, including in connection with estate planning; she also assists in the administration of estates of deceased persons.
