Ann Grew Pfeiffer has many years of experience within the area of intellectual property law, particularly copyright with a focus on TV stations’ rights.  

Ann advises numerous Danish and international TV stations and media companies on the reuse by third parties of audiovisual content in the Nordic countries.  

For many years, Ann has held a pivotal role in the performance of the attorney and secretariat function for UBO, thereby gaining particular experience in negotiating and drafting agreements on various types of re-use of TV stations’ rights in the Nordic countries.

Ann also has comprehensive knowledge of the TV markets in the Nordic countries, including the importance of the digital development; she is advising TV stations in connection with strategic decisions, such as the launching of new TV channels and other content on different platforms.  

In addition, Ann has comprehensive knowledge of the financial aspects of the assignment and acquisition of rights, including issues of tariff structure and distribution of remuneration between various rightsholders. 

Ann also advises TV stations and streaming services on the acquisition and use of rights in relation to permanent employees, freelancers, producers and other rightsholders.
